Song of the week

Some times songs are the best way to express how an individual may feel; currently this song well suits me. With that said, many songs express an emotion straightforward in their lyrics, while others are little more enigmatic. I purposely choose a song more metaphorical, because it fits my position best.
See if you can divulge this songs meaning?

Song Title: Skinny Love
Artist: Birdy
Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNzCDt2eidg

Lyrics:
Come on skinny love just last the year,
Pour a little salt you were never here,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer.

Tell my love to wreck it all,
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
Right in the moment this order's tall.

And I told you to be patient,
And I told you to be fine,
And I told you to be balanced,
And I told you to be kind,
And in the morning I'll be with you,
But it will be a different kind,
'Cause I'll be holding all the tickets,
And you'll be owning all the fines.

Come on skinny love, what happened here?
Suckle on the hope in light brassieres,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
Sullen load is full, so slow on the split.

And I told you to be patient,
And I told you to be fine,
And I told you to be balanced,
And I told you to be kind,
And now all your love is wasted,
Then who the hell was I?
'Cause now I'm breaking at the britches,
And at the end of all your lies.

Who will love you?
Who will fight?
And who will fall far behind?

Come on skinny love,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my...
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my.

Point of "Dating"

So men, what's the point of dating? You know dating is not a chess game, its a simple strategic choice that can be figured out before you jump into it. You should ONLY ask a girl to be in a relationship with you if you fit the list below:

-Actually like the girl more than a friend
-Want to get to know the girl on an intimate level, her secrets that she doesn't tell any one!
-If you're willing to accept her for who she is, all her flaws, and regrets
-If you want to experience things with her that she finds "special"
-If she makes you happy and you want to make her happy
-If you've grown up and ready to be in a serious relationship
-If you want to consider marrying her or at least see a future with her
-If you're ready to commitment and don't ponder about being with another person
-If you're willing to communicate with her
-If you're eager to be seen out with her, because she makes you feel good to be seen with
-If you're willing to respect her
-Want to make memories with this person

I'm sure there's more, but here's the top that come to my head right away...what would you add?

Do NOT ask her to date if you don't fit all these necessities. You will only be wasting her time and yours!!!!

Testing him/her to see if their cheating

Now we all have our suspicions when you think your "significant other" may be cheating. Here's the three best tips that I recommend doing in order to find out. They work, are easy to do, and may allow you to get a good nights sleep:

1. Checking their phone
A phone is a persons diary full of all their secrets. You can do the basics and look over their shoulder while they're answering a message, check their phone when they leave the room, or get real clever by  placing an cell spyware app on their phone. This app would allow you to monitor there every text, phone call, etc without notice and it conveniently supplies you with all the details straight from his/her phone to your computer.

2. Fake set up
Ask your most attractive friend to "bump" into your significant other and be flirtatious. If your friend reports back to you that your partner accepted his/her invitation to meet up again for a date than I defiantly urge you get out of the relationship. Your partner just proved that he/she is not committed to your relationship! *Note- This has to be someone that your partner has never met before in order for this to work.

3. Look at their receipts
Receipts are easily thrown away at home or forgotten in your jean pockets or purse. Check their garbage cans, purse, or jeans when you do laundry. This will allow you to gain evidence of what they did that day. Chances are they didn't think about this minor detail and you can catch them red handed!

What other steps would you advise?

Nominated best fragrance commercial

When I first saw this commercial I thought perhaps he was advertising boxer briefs, but no it's for a fragrance. Not sure how fragrance fits this concept, but its defiantly worth watching for an entirely other purpose. Enjoy ladies!

Song of the week

I love the lyrics to this song. It's a sad song, but a good reminder of how a relationship can have its tough times. When things get rough you need to remember to communicate with your partner and you can get through any thing.
Song Title: Say Something
Artist: A great Big World & Christina Aguilera
Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2U0Ivkn2Ds

Lyrics:
Say something, I'm giving up on you.
I'll be the one, if you want me to.
Anywhere, I would've followed you.
Say something, I'm giving up on you.

And I am feeling so small.
It was over my head
I know nothing at all.

And I will stumble and fall.
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you.
Anywhere, I would've followed you.
Say something, I'm giving up on you.

And I will swallow my pride.
You're the one that I love
And I'm saying goodbye.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.
And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you.
And anywhere, I would have followed you.
Oh-oh-oh-oh say something, I'm giving up on you.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.
Say something...

Do you look like your partners sibling?

One thing that I've found interesting from my previous Psychology classes that I want to share...

One of the main ingredients for finding your perfect match is by looking for someone who looks like yourself. Sounds crazy, right?! But it's true!

Psychology shows through research of observing couples that people tend to unconsciously seek out a partner with similar features as themselves. This is because it's what they are unconsciously attracted to. Due to the sense that it' what we've grown comfortable with since it's what we see looking into the mirror every day.

Knowing this study to be true, there are online dating websites such as findyourfacemate.com that allows your to upload a photo of yourself in order to have the site use facial recognition technology to find you a mate with a similar appearance. Odd huh?! But perhaps genius!

So from now on if you find a partner and curious if you're gonna last. One way to test this out is by taking a photo together and seeing if you look like your partner. See if this works!

Facebook Posts

Okay guys, obviously this message needs to be said, because I never thought I would experience this. Recently I had a guy who took me out on a date and than posted a message about our date on my facebook page.

The message was unexpected, rude, and cocky. My friends and family saw the message. Some commented on his message, he than responded back disgracefully, and the whole thing just got way out of hand!

So note to all men: NEVER post a message on a girls page that's ever
-Hurtful
-Cocky
-Rude
-Selfish
-Disgraceful
-Unpleasant
And always keep in mind that HER friends and family are on her page! So don't post any thing that you wouldn't want them to see or would give you a bad impression.

By the way - "facebook post guy," you made my blog as you wanted, congratulations!
